Ulrika Jonsson joined Tinder to find a new man

The 53-year-old star, who previously announced that she had a boyfriend during the lockdown but had to isolate them separately last April, has turned to online dating and decided to let her photos do the talking on the app.

The mother of four wrote in her column for The Sun newspaper: “I have many confessions, but I will stick to them: I have set my age range for potential applicants to be 26 to 50.

“My oldest child, Cameron, is 26 years old and it would be a little thorny to throw my nets to younger fish.

“I posted three personal, natural pictures and didn’t add any words to define myself or suggest what to look for. Only three photos and my age: 53. “

However, Ulrika, who also has children Bo, 19, Martha, 15 and Malcolm, 11, admitted that she had tried to avoid online dating for a long time, preferring to meet someone “the traditional way” meet in person.

She added, “It was easy, instinctive, and animalistic. Then the world changed. We all got cell phones and romance went out the window.

“But I was firm. I refused to be sucked in. I didn’t feel like this was going to be the right place for my heart, mind, or loins. “

Ulrika announced that she “got together with a few young people” – including the people she accidentally swiped on – but she was disappointed with the conversations on Route 1.

She said, “There seemed to be a pattern of how conversations with younger men would go.

“You would initiate a conversation, see how I am, and then, two or three questions later, ask if I would like a picture of your Sgt Major.

“I think from that moment on I always knew that I probably wouldn’t find the young dream of love that way.”
