Simon Cowell said he has fully recovered from his broken back and is feeling better than before the injury as he prepares for the return of his America’s Got Talent.
The 61-year-old TV judge fell off an electric bike he was testing at his Malibu home in August.
He was operated on for six hours – with a metal rod stuck in his back – and missed much of the last series of America’s Got Talent.

The US network NBC has announced that Cowell will be back on the jury alongside Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara when the show returns this summer.
The music mogul said he was feeling better than ever.
He said to people, “I have to be honest with you, it wasn’t that bad breaking your back. I mean, it wasn’t great for three to four weeks, but after that you get through. I had to do so much sport now. I actually feel better than before the accident. “
Then he joked, “If you want to feel healthier, break your back,” adding that America’s Got Talent team “had a better time without me”.
The TV talent show producers said they will have a final virtual last chance audition in March with the best acts performing in front of the judges.
A premiere date for season 16 of America’s Got Talent will be announced later, NBC said.
While the US version of Cowell’s Show is running, it was announced last month that Britain’s Got Talent will not happen due to the 2021 pandemic.
ITV said the program had been removed from the schedules to ensure “the well-being and health of all involved”.
