Former Girls Aloud singer, who announced last summer that she was battling advanced breast cancer, reported on her autobiography, ‘Hear Me Out,’ which will be released next month.
She wrote on Instagram: “I can’t rewrite the story. All I can do is be honest and wear my heart on my sleeve. It really is the only way that I know I want to show people the real me. Or maybe remember it.
“Because somewhere – between the nightclubs, the clothes and hairstyles, the big chart hits… and the glamor of being a pop star – the other Sarah Harding was completely lost.
“She’s the one who was forgotten. And I just want you to hear her. “
The 39-year-old star told her social media followers she was trying to be “present” on the platform while revealing how much her support meant on her “bad days”.
She added, “I know that I’m not really as present here as I promise, that I’ll try to get a little better, as it honestly means the world to me when I come and see all your good wishes .
“Thanks for the love and support, it helps me a lot on bad days. So here is a little update from me …
“Mom, the dogs and I had a really nice but quiet Christmas together, different from my usual, but a fitting way to end such a strange year.
“And since then, between treatments and hospital visits, I’ve managed to finish my book! I can’t believe I actually did it and it’s now with the printers! I’m so excited for it to come out. “
Sarah named the book after a Girls Aloud song she recorded for her 2004 record “What Will the Neighbors Say?” Has written.
She explained, “I named the book ‘Hear Me Out’ because it’s the title of the song I wrote on Girls Aloud’s second album, and I’ve always really loved it. The lyrics have always meant a lot to me.
“It was nice to revisit our songs, look back at photos and write down memories of my last 39 years. I really hope you enjoy reading about it too. “
