The former ‘X Factor’ runner-up is working on her first album since ‘Superwoman’ in 2016 with chic legend Nile Rodgers, who co-wrote the funky new track.
Nile said of their musical bond, “We just have an undeniable chemistry. Every time we meet, it feels like something special is happening. “
Rebecca added: “Working with Nil never gets old, I am still in awe of his talent. ‘No Words Needed’ came together in a fit of creativity. I can’t wait to continue working with him. “
The couple’s latest song, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, will follow in 2020 ‘Nothing Left But Family’, which featured the ‘Le Freak’ hitmaker.
The duo have been busy working on the 34-year-old singer-songwriter’s upcoming fifth studio album, which she plans to tour once the coronavirus restrictions are lifted.
Meanwhile, Rebecca launched a beauty website called Equal Skin last year.
The singer launched her new website in Lockdown, sharing her “beauty and skin care tips” with the world.
At the time, she tweeted, “I decided to start a beauty and lifestyle blog / website during the lockdown. During the lockdown, I’ll be posting some videos from home and sharing all of my beauty and skin care tips! Click Subscribe when you go to http://equalskin.co.uk (sic). “
‘No Words Needed’ is now available for streaming.
