 PRS For Music has named Dan Gopal as Chief Commercial Officer. He will take the position on March 1st

Gopal has more than 20 years of experience in commercial and strategic functions for global media and entertainment companies, including senior positions at The Walt Disney Company, Miramax, ITV and, most recently, Entertainment One as EVP and Sales Director EMEA.

At eOne he was responsible for leading the sales team in the region and executing local and territorial contracts for film and television.

As Chief Commercial Officer at PRS for Music, Gopal will direct PRS for Music’s licensing negotiations with public performance, television and radio broadcasters, digital services and recorded media providers, and will maximize the value of its joint ventures and partnerships.
