Meghan McCain was ridiculed Monday for expressing frustration over the introduction of the COVID-19 vaccine. The 36-year-old television personality who was not vaccinated hit Dr. Anthony Fauci up The view and had what twitter called “don’t you know who i am?” Moment.
McCain made the comment “out of touch” when responding to Fauci’s weekend appearance on CNN State of the Union, to which he did not say whether vaccinated grandparents could spend time with grandchildren who were not vaccinated.
βSo I was very frustrated when I saw this clip,β McCain began, adding that she βrespectedβ the nearly 500,000 people who lost loved ones to the virus. “The grief our country is going through shouldn’t be downplayed. It will be a year since we left the studio next week, and I’ve been very responsible in many ways, like so many Americans. The fact that Dr. Fauci it’s when he gets CNN and he can’t tell me if I can have dinner with my family when I get the vaccine … it’s terribly inconsistent messaging, and it’s still inconsistent messaging. “
“I don’t understand downplaying the vaccine,” she added. “The fact that I, Meghan McCain, co-hosted The viewI don’t know when or how to get a vaccine because the rollout is so nebulous for my age group and health that I have no idea when and how to get it. I want to get it. If you call me at 3 a.m. I will go anywhere anytime to get it. “
That comment lit Twitter and “Meghan McCain” began to develop.
Meghan McCain was really just saying, “The fact that I, Meghan McCain, COHOST OF THE VIEW, don’t know when or how to get a vaccine.” π₯΄π₯΄π₯΄ Girls pic.twitter.com/aPuIm0Zy6H

McCain has been called “selfish”, “non-contact” and toasted for her “great Karen energy”.
I urge The View to fire Meghan McCain and replace her with someone who actually “understands humanity” because she is a selfish princess who is out of touch with the realities of everyday people. https://t.co/IrdY3dx0j9

I hereby propose that Meghan McCain be the last person in the United States to receive the vaccine. It’s only fair.

“The fact that I, a mediocre white woman on your TV screen, just because of my father and no other serious achievement, still can’t get a vaccine to visit Napa with my best friends is appalling” – Meghan McCain https: // t.co/ UfLTqCZPvC

McCain, who also called on President Joe Biden to dismiss Fauci and replace him with someone who “understands science,” did not specifically respond to her lively remark. However, it has doubled its criticism of the leading infectious disease expert.
“Many of you can continue to worship at the Fauchi altar [sic]. I’m not a fraud, “she tweeted.” I’m not going to go on TV and lie and say one thing in private and another on the air. This is my opinion.”
Many of you can continue to worship at the Fauchi altar. I’m not a fraud – I’m not going to go on TV and lie and say one thing in private and another on the air. This is my opinion. We need someone in charge of messaging and coronavirus management.
