The 38-year-old plays Edgar in the comedy written by Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo, in which he stars. Dornan wants to show off his funny side more after receiving rave reviews for his portrayal of the henchman in love.
“I am an adult, I have responsibilities, but often I am not serious at all. So I liked that very much. If you want to do your first comedy just make sure you do it with you, Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo, ”he told Variety. “This is just the dream team I can get together with. I feel like a very happy, happy boy and I would like to do more of it.”
Dornan said he had always been overlooked because of his previous roles in more dramatic films and TV shows like the crime drama The Fall and the Fifty Shades comedy franchise.

“I wanted to, but I wouldn’t have been considered for comedies for a variety of reasons. mainly because I’ve played characters that are not remotely funny. All of my slate is very dramatic and very dark. And I love to do that, but there is this other side of me that has always wanted to put out a version of me and let something out of me that is probably closer to me, ”the actor explained.
