The “Wonder Woman” star hit her social media accounts on Monday to announce the good news. The actress shared a family photo with her husband Jaron Varsano and daughters Alma, 9, and Maya, 3, and put her hands on her stomach. She wrote: “Here we go again.”
The pregnancy announcement comes just a day after Gadot presented an award at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards, which she and her husband attended. For the occasion, she wore a flowing white mini dress that hid her baby bump well, but still sparked speculation as to whether she expected it.
In December last year, Gadot proudly raved about her husband, whom she married in 2008, and their two daughters. Of a special scene in Wonder Woman 1984 where the family appeared, she said, “It meant a lot and special in this very special scene.”

“I have two daughters, both of them showed up. My eldest appeared with Asa [director] Patty [Jenkins]The son, and then my youngest son, who I was pregnant with during the Wonder Woman remakes, the first was there with my husband, ”the 35-year-old told GoodDay DC’s Kevin McCarthy.
“Getting them on film with me because they’re a part of it meant a lot and it’s an amazing, amazing souvenir that we’ll cherish forever,” she added.
In an interview with news.com.au in May 2017, shortly after the birth of their second daughter, Gadot said that she felt like “Wonder Woman” when she gave birth.
She said, “It’s cheesy, but I feel like Wonder Woman when I give birth. When you deliver, you feel like a god. Like, “Oh my god, I did this!” The best thing is to become a mother and give life. “
However, parenting is not without its challenges, which the former Israeli soldier confessed in an Instagram post in June 2017. She wrote, “Sleepless night, colic 3 month old baby and an early wake up from my 5 year old. Went out into the garden to get some fresh air with my coffee so I could wake up and now went to The Cat In The Hat with my daughter. I keep wondering how easy it is to make us happiest. “

The actress also admitted that balancing work and family life is one of her “greatest challenges”. During a 92-year discussion in October 2017, she said, “I think any mother who has a career can relate to it. You always feel guilty for not doing enough at home, or not working enough on treatment, script, or whatever. “
“At the end of the day, your children will join your life and you bring them here and they will join your life. You are not supposed to change your life to accommodate the children. Now, of course, our children are always our top priority, but I realized that it’s okay to have a different life. It’s okay not to have a routine and not be like everyone else. And it’s fine as long as the family is together and you’re happy and do it together, it’s great, ”she added.
