Elizabeth Olsen said she was “very aware” of the impact nepotism had on her career because she came from a family of performers.

In an interview with Grazia, Olsen said: “Nepotism is one thing and I am very aware of it.”

Grazia noted that Olsen’s mother, Jarnett Olsen, was a ballerina, while her older sisters, twins Mary-Kate and Ashley, were famous as child actresses in “Full House”. The Olsen Twins shared the role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC show from 1987 to 1995, and also appeared in a few films during and after that time.

Mary-Kate and Ashley founded their own fashion label The Row in 2006.

The attempt to become self-employed has so far gone quite well for the younger Olsen sister. She is currently starring on one of the most talked about TV shows – Disney Plus’ first MCU series, “WandaVision”.

The series follows Olsen’s Wanda and Paul Bettany’s vision as a happily married couple in various sitcoms and finds out that not everything is what it seems. Olsen told Grazia that the show was perfect for her and her younger self.

“I was a very hammy, performative kid. I think I have to live out a kind of childhood dream on the show,” said Olsen.

“WandaVision” has had many twists and turns and revelations so far as fan speculation about where the mysterious show is going has raged, as has the popularity of the show.

Olsen has previously played Wanda in five MCU films and will play the character again in the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel, which will feature WandaVision directly.

Olsen has spoken of her sisters several times. She recently said that in an interview with SirusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show,” she always copied her sisters’ style and outfit choices.

“As an adult, I still wanted to wear everything my sisters have ever worn in my entire life. I want their coats. I want their shoes. I want their clothes. And that’s something I never outgrew”, said Olsen said.
