Daniel Radcliffe’s early acting credits Harry Potter are not the ones he can easily look back on.
The 31-year-old actor reflected on his time in the blockbuster franchise in an interview with Lord of the rings Star Elijah Wood for Empire Magazine.
“I’m obviously very ashamed of some of my actors,” Radcliffe said, laughing at Digital Spy. “But yeah, it’s like asking, ‘How do you feel about your teenage years?’ There is so much in it that it is almost impossible to find out a feeling. “
He added, “It’s hard to separate my relationship with Harry from my relationship with the movies as a whole.”

“I’m incredibly grateful for this experience. It showed me what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Finding out what you love early on is really a godsend,” he said.
Radcliffe and Wood, 40, also thought about being mistaken for each other often.
“Once I was in an elevator, only me and one other person and I could feel them looking at me carefully,” said Wood. “Just before the door opened, he finally took his courage, pointed at me and said, ‘Harry Potter!’ I said no!’ and I went away. “

Radcliffe said, “Although we’re both short, pale, blue-eyed, and brown-haired, I would say we don’t look exactly alike. But the idea of us is exactly the same. When people say to me, ‘Lord of the Rings!’ I’m literally just saying, “No. The other.” “”
Radcliffe started talking about dealing with massive fame at a young age.
“You learn to care less or you learn not to be influenced in the same way,” he said PEOPLE now in December 2019.
He added, “It’s something you get used to as you get older and learn not to care too much.”
