The Saturday Night Live star married Scarlett Johansson last October and things are going well right now. He believes their union will last as the lockdowns triggered by the global health crisis have made the past 12 months a stressful time for many couples.
When asked what the marriage was like, he told Entertainment Tonight: “It seems like a good one. If you can overcome this situation, it seems like a very good sign. “
The 38-year-old comic admitted he hadn’t been too involved in planning his wedding to actress ‘Black Widow’ because he knows the 36-year-old beauty has “better taste” than him.
He said, “I don’t pretend to know or have a taste for things.
“I am very happy to be able to rely on someone who tastes much better and knows things better. I have generally learned that in my life. Never have I ever said, “Oh, should I wear this shirt?” … I never know, so I would always prefer to tell someone else. “
And Colin was more focused on their marriage than the wedding itself, insisting that choosing his bride was a “far bigger decision” than the details of their celebration.
He said, “I was much happier about it [that] right than any of the others.
“I never grew up with my dream wedding. This is what i want I imagined my dream partner rather than my dream wedding. There are a lot of details that I just didn’t even consider. “
Meanwhile, later this month, Colin starred in the new live-action film, “Tom and Jerry,” promising that the film will offer a “real escape” from the current troubles.
He said, “It will now be a real escape for the people. It’s just funny and silly and there is really funny violence that I like between characters.
“I think that’s what people really love about Tom and Jerry. I think everyone is really good at it. … I think people will be excited to live in this world for a while and don’t have to live in our own right now. “
