Black Veil Brides' new album is "almost complete," said frontman Andy Biersack

The band previewed ‘The Phantom Tomorrow’, the sequel to ‘Vale’ from 2018, with the new single ‘Scarlet Cross’ last year.

In a new Instagram post, Biersack – also known as Andy Black – provided fans with an update on the new album. “I just wanted to thank you for all of your support and excitement regarding my recent projects!” he wrote.

“The response to the book has been incredible and I can’t wait for your ‘Paradise City’ to come to Amazon Prime Video next month! I also wanted to keep you informed that the upcoming Black Veil Brides album ‘The Phantom Tomorrow’ is almost finished.

In a recent interview with Kerrang! Black discussed what to expect from the new record. “Over the years we’ve gotten rid of the heavy riff-big-chorus dynamic that defines Black Veil Brides,” he said.

“Our previous full-length record was very soft, with a lot of sheen, so the goal [this time] was to find a way to make it great, with lots of prank elements and all, but still feel like an edge was built out of the reef. “

He added, “I don’t like the term ‘concept recording’ but [‘The Phantom Tomorrow’] is a concept record. There are themes, ideas, and moments that vary a lot from moment to moment, but the goal at the end of the day, at the heart of it all, is to write a heavy rock record and build everything from there, as opposed to to write a pop record and put riffs over it. “

In 2019, Black recalled a bizarre story about Morrissey and his alleged refusal to go on stage wearing the colors yellow and green.

The singer took on NME’s Show & Tell challenge when he recalled a strange incident when his band Black Veil Brides was sharing a venue with the former Smiths star.

“I don’t know if that’s true or if someone screwed them up, but that’s my Morrissey story,” he said.
