Juventus do not agree with two match ban imposed by Serie A on Alvaro Morata after being sent off against Benevento. They will therefore appeal the decision.
Alvaro Morata will be unavailable for the next two Serie A matches. The Juventus striker was suspended after being sent off against Benevento, but the club are going to appeal.
‘Corriere di Torino’ says that Juventus will appeal Serie A’s decision. The Italians thinks that a two match ban is excessive.
It is worth remembering that Morata was give a straight red card just after the match against Benevento. The striker went straight to the ref to protest to him.
Serie A says that Morata was punished for “using a disrespectful expression towards the referee on the field of play after the game was over.”
If the appeal is unsuccessful, Morata will miss Juventus’ next two Serie A matches. The derby against Torino and the match against Genoa so he could be back on 16th December versus Atalanta.
