‘Tony!’ will be performed from February 4 to February 6 as part of the MTFestUK festival, and Paul Taylor-Mills, the artistic director of The Turbine Theatre, is already looking forward to the event.
Paul hailed the achievement of organising the festival despite the ongoing threat posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
He said: “It’s impossible to ignore the challenges and sheer nerve required to make any kind of announcement during these times.
“With all that in mind, I couldn’t be prouder to be associated with The Turbine Theatre and everything that it stands for, particularly with regard to investing in and generating new work.
“It’s fair to say that MTFestUK 2021 is going to be our most diverse to date.”
Harry previously admitted he was “a bit cult-y” earlier in his career.
The comedy star worked as a doctor before making the move into the TV industry in the 90s, and while he initially developed a cult-like fan following, he doesn’t regret the decision to move into the mainstream.
He said: “I suppose at some point in my career I was a bit cult-y, and I decided to go mainstream. But no. I don’t regret it.
“I think it’s much harder to go mainstream and not to feel like you’ve compromised. I don’t really feel like I’ve compromised.”
